Peugeot UK’s Kris Meeke and Paul Nagle were amongst the IRC champions who received their awards in the lavish surroundings of the Pavillon Dauphine in Paris, at the IRC prize-giving ceremony on Monday night. The event – which also featured spectacular TV highlights from the year – was attended by drivers, teams, event organisers and media from all over the world.

Kris, you have proved yourself worthy of a drive in the Wrc with your performances in the Irc this year. You and Paul have built up a great partnership that is the equal of the best in the Wrc and I believe that you deserved the drive with the Citroen Junior Team instead of Kimi Rakkonen in next years Wrc.
I believe you would have beaten Sebastien Oiger and put it up to Mr Loeb,Mr Hirvonen and show Citroen that you would have beaten Danni Sordo in equal equipment and become a worthy teammate of Seb Loeb.
Have a Peaceful Christmas and all the best for 2010 were I hope you will win the Irc once more and secure a drive with Citroen in the Wrc 2010,you deserve it.
Hi Kris and Barry, Just a quick not to wish you a Happy Christmas and Every success in the New Year. I hope you retain the title I have every confidence you will. Good Luck
Kind regards
Peter Horgan
